For waiting adoptive parents...
For the last couple of weeks, the Lord has laid upon my heart the cries of my friends who are still waiting to bring their adoptive children home. I have been lifting them up in prayer & fighting in the spirit on their behalf. Yesterday was a wonderful day for our family as we celebrated our first Thanksgiving together but in my thoughts & heart, were the old feelings of empty, bittersweetness that we experience while we waited for our children to come home. I know that many of you out there are in that place right now. Some of you may have children at home & desperately want to enjoy the moment with them but are stuck in an adoption time warp & can't do that because of the piece(s) of your heart that are still in far away lands. Please know that I do care...and that I am praying for you & your families.

Thanks, Kathy... 3 years in the adoption time warp seems like forever some days. Especially holidays! We're praying that we receive Presidential Approval by Christmas. It's a long shot, but... still we hope.
Thank you Kathy. You have such a sweet spirit and you totally nailed my feeling with the time warp thing...I DO have two beautiful children and it's not that I love them any less at all, but I'm simply not ALL here...I try, but sometimes it's just terrible.
Thanks for praying so specifically.
Thanks, Kathy. Please keep praying, I believe the prayers are working. I have been praying for supernaturally fast adoptions and that God would squash ALL opposition, spiritual, political, finacial, ALL oppsition.
Thanks for praying.
Thank you. It has been really long journey and the recent delay--almost a year out of parquet--was due to paperwork they lost. A new law about appearing in court was put into effect in the meantime. Then they asked for our adoption minutes to be totally redone since we've been out of parquet so long. Aughhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Thank you Kathy. It means so much.
