Glasses...
I know these aren't the best pictures to show case Phoebe's new glasses that she got yesterday but she wasn't cooperating with me...which seems to be the trend this week...and it's still early in the week!...please pray for us! :o)
I agree with Sarah, but wow! She looks older with her glasses on. Don't you just hate & love those moments that let you have a glimpse at them being older?!? It's great to see them growing, but sad to realize it goes so fast some times. :)
Thanks everyone! Brandy...I really need that book! She got demoted at swimming lessons yesterday because she refused to do the back stroke. I'm use to her not listening to me or Randy but she always listens to other adults...this is not a good sign...keep praying!
I'm interested in finding out more about that book. A book and website that have helped me lately with my strong-willed three year old is "Screamfree Parenting" It has really helped me to not be as reactive to Katie's moods/tantrums. Every time she has to learn a lesson (like being demoted at swimming) I have to remember that God must feel as frustrated with us sometimes..."Why are they doing that? Why can't they just do what I ask?"
I got the book at the Family Christian Book Store. I also bought Creative Correction by Lisa Whelchel (s.p?). It sounds like we are all going through the same thing.
Kristin...I'll have to check out that book & website. Brandy...I have the Creative Correction book. It's a good book. I need to get back to reading it again. My mom once told me to read Dr. Dobson's book on the strong willed child & I remember telling her that I didn't have to time to read because I was too busy taking care of my strong willed child...guess I should read more :o)
I hear you sister. I have that book but never had time to read it. That is funny. I forgot I had it until you said that. Boy, was my Tyler a strong willed toddler!!!!
