"A Piece of My Heart"
After several unsuccessful attempts at you tube I went back to the "trusty" picture trail. These are various pictures from my December Haiti trip. I left a piece of my heart in Haiti in July that has three beautiful names written on it...Shakira, Samara, & Caleb. Long after they are home with me, there will still be a piece of my heart left in Haiti...a country that God is still developing a love for in me even though it is so foriegn to almost everything I know & have here. I will always treasure the amazing memories that have been created through this most amazing journey that I am on.

I feel the same way. I haven't been to Haiti since August.
Oh Kathy, these pictures are beautiful. And look at your big boy, Caleb. He is sitting up all by his sweet little self. And the girls, they look so happy.
I too, have found a love for Haiti growing in my heart. I had such a difficult time adjusting while I was there. Now that I am home, Haiti consumes my mind. Not a day goes by when I do not think about the O and those beautiful children. Wondering how all of the adoptions are progressing and how the children are doing.
Oh, how I can wait until your kids are home. I am so excited to see Shakira grow into a young lady. I have great expectations for that little girl..and all of your children. Love ya, my friend!!
Great pics Kathy! Thanks for sharing!
oh thank you so much for these pictures! i miss them so much!
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane!
You're welcome Cara :o)
Thank you for posting the pictures...it takes me back to our time this December. I was so blessed by you and the others. I long to be back in Haiti again and I think it will always hold a piece of all the hearts of those of us who have been at the O. That truly is the Lord...making a place that is Ninevah to so many be a place we want to return to. That's what love does!
I agree with you Tina! :o)
I think I just sat through both of these slide shows with a huge, goofy grin on my face. I laughed out loud several times, too. The longer I'm away from the O the more I find my heart grows with love for all the children there. Thanks so much for sharing these!
